Dr. Allan Baker, the Senior Curator of Ornithology and Head of the Department
of Natural History at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, has traveled far and wide dedicating his life to saving the Red Knot, a migratory shore bird, from extinction. This once-thriving bird flies from Argentina to the Arctic and back annually, and has seen its population decrease precipitously. Dr. Baker goes to the Mingan Archipelago to find out why.
